We’ve recently participated in a few debates here in ME-02, and throughout them all, our opponent has repeatedly tried to paint Jared as something he’s just not.

So now, with just 10 days until Election Day, we thought we’d set the record straight. But if you don’t have time to read our whole message, just know this: We’ll need your help to fight back against these mischaracterizations, so can you chip in today?

Throughout his time in Congress, Jared has been an independent voice unafraid of bucking party leaders and working across the aisle to get things done for Maine’s working families.

In fact, FiveThirtyEight and ProPublica have both rated Jared as one of the most independent voices in Congress based on his voting record.

That’s a record that Jared is proud of, and it’s an approach that he shares with the majority of Maine voters. More blind partisanship and gridlock politics won’t help resolve the challenges we’re facing right now -- only a commitment to action and getting things done will do that.

In the race for ME-02, it’s clear which candidate will be an independent voice, because only one candidate has a record to back that claim up. So, can you help us get Jared back to Congress so that he can continue his independent leadership next year?
