A pro-Cornyn Super PAC is using a photo of my tattoos to make me seem "radical." I think that’s pretty funny.
Do they think I’m ashamed of them? My tattoos cover my shrapnel wounds from when my helicopter was shot down. They're a mark of my service to our country, and I'm damn proud of them.
What’s “radical” to me is that the president called our troops “losers and suckers,” and Sen. Cornyn stayed silent.
What’s radical is that Sen. Cornyn knowingly voted in favor of the administration stealing funds from our military bases -- and land from hard-working Texans -- to build an ineffective border wall.
What’s radical is that Sen. Cornyn and I both took oaths to support and defend our Constitution against threats foreign and domestic, yet John Cornyn refused to condemn the President when he told a far-right, Neo-Fascist organization to “stand by.”
Every day it becomes more clear that we urgently need to defeat Sen. Cornyn. My tattoos are a demonstration of what I’m willing to do to serve my country and countrymen, and I will fight like hell for you in the Senate. Donate now to help me get there.
Thanks for everything,
MJ Hegar
