I’ve got concerning news, John: our far-right, self-funding Republican opponent just made his final TV ad reservations of the campaign -- and it’s a massive six figure spend.

The first time our opponent went on TV, he aired a racist and misleading attack ad against Lauren. Even Politifact and the Chicago Sun-Times labeled his ad as FALSE. 

But we know that’s not going to stop him from running another fear-mongering ad to try and scare folks into voting for him.

So we need to be prepared to fight back -- can you rush a donation to our $20,000 TV Ad Fund so we have all the resources we need to be on TV during the final week of this campaign?

To be candid with you -- after I saw our opponent’s first TV ad, I was furious and disgusted. But I wasn’t surprised. He’s run for statewide and federal office SIX times (and lost six times). And every time, he’s made desperate attempts to try and trick voters into supporting him. 

It’s our responsibility to turn our anger and frustration into action, though.

While our opponent will stoop to unthinkable lows, we’re remaining laser-focused on spreading Lauren’s positive vision for our community.
