Instead of working on another COVID-19 relief package (one that would actually help struggling Americans get back on their feet), Trump’s Senate allies have TWICE tried -- and failed -- to pass a “skinny” bill that was woefully inadequate.

The Senate has failed us.

Instead of giving desperately needed relief to the millions of Americans struggling to afford rent, groceries, and health care expenses (to name a few), the Senate bill instead prioritized protecting companies from coronavirus lawsuits -- a move some say is a recipe for unsafe working conditions.

This is utterly unacceptable. The first duty of our elected senators is to serve their constituents -- and they haven’t done even that.
