Dear Friends-

With the final debate behind us (Go Joe!) and 10 days to go until Election Day, we maintain a laser-focus on voter outreach. We’ve always said this would be a turn out election.

This is where we are in the final 10 days of this election. We need your help out hustling the other side and in particular we have two new specific opportunities where we are asking you to direct people now:

In-Person Canvassing Help Needed Immediately in PA- We are knocking doors across the state of Pennsylvania! Canvassing will look different this year. Across the campaign, they have enacted measures to prioritize the health and safety of all of our volunteers, staff, and voters. Canvassing is done in a socially distanced manner and with PPE. There will not be large trainings or time spent in offices, however the work you do at the doors, reaching voters, remains important:

  • Canvassers must be able to make their own travel and accommodation plans if they’re from out of state. These are fully volunteer roles. This includes bringing their own PPE.

  • Canvassers must comply with campaign COVID guidelines.

  • Canvassers will use MiniVAN while canvassing. Bring a charger.

  • All volunteers must attend a virtual training before signing up for a canvass shift. This is required in order to volunteer in-person.

Trainings: Daily, 7pm ET

Sign up here.

85%

of the doors knocked in PA right now are people we have not reached on the phone.

Can’t Go To PA? Help Us Recruit People Today at 3PM ET

We consider you to be Friends and Family. In partnership with BFP, the late help team at the DNC is hosting a “All Staff, Friends & Family” phone bank to recruit volunteers for Pennsylvania and other battleground states at 3:00pm ET Today. JOIN US!

In addition, please continue to help push people to: phone banking, text banking, late help, and poll observers. Turnout will be the key to winning this election. More than 56 million voters have already cast their ballots. With your support this number can dramatically increase. The final Presidential debate left a lasting impression of what’s at stake in this election.

There is so much on the line in this election. It is imperative that Democrats are talking directly to voters everyday. We still have turn out gaps that must be filled quickly. As President Obama said this week in Philadelphia, “We can’t just imagine a better future. We’ve got to fight for it. We’ve got to out hustle the other side, We've got to out work the other side, We’ve got to vote, like never before and leave no doubt.”

The campaign has done a great job at connecting with voters. Yesterday, Senator Kamala Harris participated in an early vote launch mobilization event in Atlanta, where she delivered remarks at Morehead College and urged voters to cast their ballots early ahead of Mandatory Saturday voting in Georgia.

They are working tirelessly to reach voters and we will too. There is still more to do in the final 10 days of the campaign!

Yous In the Fight,

Muthoni
