You can be a Holiday Hero for a family in need

Dear John,
How does your family celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday? In ours it’s a day for cousins to catch-up, aunts and uncles to one-up each other in the kitchen, and the sports-minded cheer (E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!) or boo (it’s Philly after all) the Birds on TV.
For the Rodriguez family, things will be very different this year. Ty’s dad had his hours at work severely cut back before he was laid off entirely. Their mom’s job was also affected. She’ll get called in to cover a shift occasionally, but most of the time she is on the phone searching for a new job while helping Ty’s younger siblings with online schooling. Ty can feel the anxiety rolling off their parents at every meal. Laughter used to come so easily for Ty’s dad.
This holiday season, will you help make this one day of their year a little easier? YOU can provide a Thanksgiving meal basket with all the trimmings for Ty’s family through Operation Turkey <[link removed]>.
Join us in brightening the Thanksgiving holiday for the Rodriguez family with a donation today.
You can help by donating:

A monetary contribution
Your cash gift makes the biggest impact <[link removed]>— a gift of $ 50 provides a family of four with all the fixings for a Thanksgiving meal.
<[link removed]>
Nonperishable food items
Your donated food items will help fill Thanksgiving baskets distributed to families in need. See suggested food items and drop-off info <[link removed]> or order through our no-contact wish list <[link removed]>.
Gift cards in denominations of $ 25
Your Target, Walmart or local grocery store gift cards will give families the flexibility to purchase food for their favorite holiday dishes (Ty's favorites are their abuela's special tamales and mom's Cajun mac n' cheese)!
However you and your family celebrate the season, let’s join together and make this a festive holiday for every family in our community.
With gratitude,
