John, 🚨 BREAKING: This morning, Abigail was endorsed by the Washington Post Editorial Board, who recognized her bipartisan approach to legislating and her assertive, independent leadership for VA-07.Â
One of our favorite sections: Ms. Spanberger deserves to be reelected. Not only is she a standard-bearer of moderation at a time it is badly needed; she is also a thoughtful, knowledgeable legislator who has taken the trouble to legislate. That sets her apart in a body that tilts toward grandstanding and ideological flame-throwing. This is a huge endorsement that shows how Abigail, and the work she’s done, are receiving national recognition for her work on behalf of Central Virginia's communities. We have the momentum in this race, but we can’t rest until we’ve won. We’re just 10 days out from the most important election of our lifetime. The stakes this year couldn’t be higher for the people of VA-07 and for this country. As the Editorial board writes: “Ms. Spanberger has been an independent voice for Virginia’s 7th District. Mr. Freitas would be the opposite. If she loses, so will the district’s constituents.” The people of Central Virginia need a strong leader like Abigail fighting for them.
