This could spell disaster for our race, John:

My GOP opponent Maria Elvira Salazar has been running ads full of false, defamatory statements about me.

And this couldn’t have come at a worse time: Polls show Salazar narrowly LEADING in what the Cook Political Report calls one of the most competitive House races this cycle. Meanwhile, Donald Trump and his allies are desperately pouring millions of dollars into Florida to flip this seat and the House majority red, and my opponent has outraised us every single quarter this year. 

Unless we raise $4,500 before midnight tonight, we won’t have the resources we need to fight back against my opponent’s baseless attacks on the airwaves. That’s why I’m counting on you to give right away, John:
