Hi there, I sent this around to our team this morning about what’s happening on the ground here in Utah’s 4th district, but I wanted to include you as well. Final Memorandum for Team McAdams Candidate Fundraising The latest fundraising numbers were released last week, and it showed that for the first time in this race, we were outraised by our opponent Burgess Owens. His report showed large sums of money coming in from a fundraiser with Sen. Ted Cruz, as well as large donations from House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan, and former Rep. Mia Love -- who Ben defeated in 2018. (Donate to our Emergency Response Fund here >>) Polling We got brand new polling, and it shows Ben trailing his opponent Burgess by just one point. In a one-point race like this, everything we do in the final 10 days can make or break our chances to re-elect Ben. We need to step up our game, so we’re ramping up our voter outreach efforts to make sure Ben comes out on top on election night. (Donate to help us win this one-point race >>) Outside Spending DC super PACs and special interests are investing millions of dollars in this race to defeat Ben -- and we just got news they’re adding an additional $250,000 here in the final days. They’re using this massive amount of money to run misleading TV ads that attack Ben and send in paid operatives at the last minute to turn out votes for Burgess Owens. (Donate to help us compete with the outside money flooding in for our opponent >>) Early Voting Most Utahns have already received their ballots in the mail (and many have already returned them) -- so if you’ve already voted, thank you so much for making your voice heard! But the fact of the matter is, we still have a pretty big mountain to climb. There are still hundreds of thousands of Utahns who have not yet cast their ballots, and we need to do everything we can to reach them. So once you’ve cast your ballot, the best way you can continue to help Ben win this thing is by chipping in so that we can share our message with undecided voters (who tend to vote later) while they make this big decision.
