I know that many of us share the same outrage and frustration that somebody who fashions herself a moderate -- somebody who professes to care about LGBTQ+ rights and reproductive freedoms -- could vote to confirm Brett Kavanaugh. Senator Collins not only confirmed him, but she did it in a way that dismissed the concerns of so many Americans.

Senator Collins will vote how Mitch McConnell tells her to every single time -- unless it doesn't make a difference to the outcome, in which case he might give her a "hall pass" to break party lines so she can try and salvage what's left of her reputation.

Meanwhile, as Speaker of the House, Sara Gideon has proven she can both speak up for what's right and get results for Mainers -- even under Republican Governor Paul LePage. She's a fighter.
