In 2018, Kara Eastman lost by 1.9% in her Congressional race against
Republican incumbent Don Bacon in Nebraska's 2nd District.
But the good news? This election, Kara is running against Bacon again —
and recent polls have this race neck-and-neck.
This race will be tight until the very end, and Kara needs the resources
to reach even more voters in these critical last few days before the
election, as well as money for a potential recount.

rushing to do voter outreach before it's too late. What's more — Dana's
facing a competitive race against a Trump Republican in a tossup district.

We can't afford to have a lawmaker like Don Bacon in Congress if we want
to push our progressive agenda forward. He votes with Trump 92.2% of the
time in Congress, hurting working-class people with the policies he
supports.
But Kara understands how important it is to fight for working people in
the 2nd District of Nebraska in Washington. She understands that we need
bold, progressive change to meet the scale of our modern-day problems, and
is also endorsed by Bernie Sanders, Ed Markey, and AOC.
We need to make sure that Kara can win her race this time around. Right
now, she's tied in the polls with Don Bacon, and polling shows NE-02
leading for Biden — making this a key pickup opportunity for the
progressive movement.
