Green Bay and Wolf River chapters unite?
Our Wisconsin Revolution is relaunching chapters across the state, and the northeast region is no exception. For the last two months, OWR members and supporters have been meeting to form a new chapter in Green Bay. We've been talking about pushing for a civilian police review board, police body cameras, and running progressives for local office.
Now we'd like to explore an expansion of the original four counties where we drew people for the Green Bay Chapter. Before the current round of OWR chapter relaunches, the Green Bay and Wolf River chapters had been talking about a merger. We'd like to pick up where that discussion left off to see if that idea is still of interest to our members and supporters.
Join us TOMORROW, Sunday, October 25, at noon for the next meeting of Our Wisconsin Revolution activists in the Green Bay area and surrounding communities. We will talk about the possibility of expanding to the Wolf River area (see map), a possible new name, and other initiatives around the state, with special guest Joella Striebel, OWR Northwest Regional Organizer.
This meeting will be conducted virtually. To receive the zoom link, please register here.
If you are unable to attend this meeting but are interested in learning more about the chapter, please fill out this form and we will be in touch.
Hope to see you tomorrow!
In Solidarity,
Cathy Cowan Becker
