Hey John,
Our campaign to bring birth control pills over-the-counter and on to the shelves at CVS and Walgreens without a prescription is shifting into a critical stage.
The most important step for FDA approval is ensuring enough young people participate in this study about the pill, and right now we need more 11-14 year old participants. We badly need YOU to spread the word via email, text and social media.
SPREAD THE WORD TO YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY
If you need something to say in a text or posts, try something like:
Hey, just texting you because I saw this opportunity for people ages 11-14 to join this study about birth control and was wondering if you could spread the word? 11-14 year olds are missing from the study right now, and the FDA can’t determine if The Pill should be available for all ages, unless all ages complete this study

Or get more creative, and copy/paste this into a text or social media post:
The shelves at CVS have
✅condoms
✅emergency contraception
❌...but no birth control pills?
Right now, ppl ages 11-14 can get paid $75 to join this study and see if the govt should change that. See if you’re eligible here: https://thepillstudy.com/
MORE THINGS YOU CAN DO
- Copy/paste this email and send it to the teachers, mentors, and parents in your life.
- Copy/paste one of those social media posts above, and simply text it to the teachers, mentors, and parents in your life
- Know someone at an organization that works with young people? Forward them this email and ask their organization to post about it or reach out to their email list.
The study is open to young people anywhere in the United States and, due to COVID-19, will be all-online.
