The images coming from the detention camps at the border are truly horrifying: children in cages being denied access to basic necessities like toothbrushes and soap.

Trump has made it clear that the cruelty is the point, and the crisis is only getting worse. It’s shameful that it has gotten this far, friend. Children belong with their parents -- it’s that simple.
