Women's March

John,

Last night during the final presidential debate, Trump made one thing abundantly clear: he knows the odds are stacked against him.

We are winning. Since a majority of people are choosing not to vote for Trump, he’s trying to pick and choose who votes to cheat and bully his way to victory.

We won’t let him, John.

Most importantly, we must make sure our local leaders know that our eyes are on them from now until Election Day and that they must guarantee every vote will be counted.

Will you add your name to our petition to tell local election administrators in District of Columbia that EVERY VOTE must be counted in this election?

We the people call on our District of Columbia election officials to:

-Be proactive about making sure voters know their rights and have access to all voting options including voting by mail, in-person early voting, and safe and accessible voting on Election Day.

-Support local clerks and municipalities to ensure that every voter who chooses to vote in person on Election Day has an accessible and safe voting location, including proper protections against the spread of COVID-19 such as clearly marked mask requirements, social distancing guidance and hand sanitizer.

-Take immediate action to protect voters from voter intimidation at the polls and from misinformation campaigns.

-Set the expectation that in District of Columbia every vote is counted and that all voters have a meaningful chance to procure provisional or mail-in ballots if needed.

-Support local election officials and the media to communicate proactively and transparently with voters about the ballot counting process and when to expect results.

COUNT EVERY VOTE →

Early voting numbers are signaling to us a promising truth: A record breaking number of women from all walks of life — previous Trump voters, lifetime non-voters, and everyone in between — are rising up this election to end this administration.

Trump knows this and he’s terrified.

He knows that women from the suburbs to the cities, from the coasts to the heartland are turning against him. So now, he’s desperately trying to pick which votes should count.

We saw this coming, John. That’s why we’ve been working and building to this moment for years. We are prepared to make sure that our local leaders are ready to stand up to Trump’s attempt to subvert the will of American voters like us.

So now, it’s time to finish the job. We must come together in these final days to remind our local election administrators one last time that Trump doesn’t decide who wins the election. We do.

Will you add your name to our petition and demand that every vote from District of Columbia be counted?

COUNT EVERY VOTE →

Together we will make sure that everyone counts, ensure everyone’s vote is counted, and swear in a government of, by, and for the people.

Keep fighting,
Women’s March
