[[link removed]]Democrat,
By the time you’re reading this, well over 2 million New Jersey voters will have cast their ballots in this critical election. Are you one of them? Great! Then we’ve got a surprise for you. One of the things people love about voting is proudly displaying their “I Voted” stickers, but with a primarily Vote by Mail election we’re unfortunately not getting that opportunity. But NJDSC wants to help you show your friends and family that you’re a voter, to hopefully inspire them to be one too. That’s why we’ve launched our new NJDSC “I Voted” Facebook profile frame, which you can add to your page right now and tell the world that you’re a voter! [[link removed]]

We still need to do everything we can to run through the finish line in this crucial election. Make sure to return your Vote by Mail ballot and lock in your vote [[link removed]] . You can sign up for our NJDSC Weekly Phonebank/Vote Chase on our Volunteer Hub [[link removed]] . And if you can make a small donation, do it now to make sure we have the resources we need to win this election [[link removed]] .

Earlier this week Governor Murphy was informed that he had potentially been exposed to a staff member who had tested positive for COVID-19. The Governor acted immediately, stepping away in the middle of a press conference to begin a voluntary self quarantine process, above and beyond the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control. Governor Murphy and the First Lady have both tested negative since that encounter and are feeling great, and on behalf of the NJDSC I want to thank them for their responsible leadership and wish them and the rest of the Governor’s team continued good health and a speedy recovery to those who have tested positive.

While he may be off the field temporarily, Governor Murphy is still hard at work both leading our state through an uptick in COVID-19 cases and also helping elect Democrats in critical districts around the state. His leadership in confronting this crisis continues to show what we need from our elected officials and it offers a stark contrast to President Trump’s continued denial of the scope of the pandemic.
For up to date information regarding new cases and directives regarding coronavirus, visit the state’s dedicated COVID-19 Information Hub [[link removed]] or follow Governor Murphy’s official pages on social media.
