** I. Spotlight: Trump and Cruz Intervene in CO-4 Race
------------------------------------------------------------

On Wednesday, President Donald Trump and Senator Ted Cruz intervened in the CO-4 race in a last-minute attempt to prop up Ken Buck. Thanks to the help of all our volunteers and supporters on team Ike, our grassroots unapologetic campaign is working, and Ken Buck is panicking.

Ballot returns in our district have been promising for Democrats and these endorsements are clearly a last-minute attempt to boost Buck's dwindling chances.

What we are doing is working, but we need your help to keep up with Buck's final fundraising push! Any contribution no matter the size is going to help get our campaign to the finish line. Can we count on you? ([link removed])

** Ken Storms Out At The End Of Debate With Ike
------------------------------------------------------------

Last Friday, Ike confronted Congressman Buck head-on as they met at an American Legion Post in Elizabeth, CO to debate. Ike pressed Ken Buck on his disregard for his constituents with his record of voting no on coronavirus aid, and any measures that would help CO-4’s working class.

At the last minute Buck tried to pull a fast one on Ike by attempting to tie him to antifa. Quick on his feet, Ike counterpunched by calling on Buck to condemn white supremacy. Showing his true self, Ken Buck a congressman who panders to the extreme right ([link removed]) right walked off.

You can watch highlights of the debate in the video above. ([link removed])

** Elizabeth Warren Endorses Ike
------------------------------------------------------------

This week Ike was endorsed by leading figure in the progressive movement, Senator Elizebeth Warren (D-MA).

Warren has devoted her life to fighting for the working class. Early in the Obama administration she led the effort to create the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and as a senator she has helped lead the fight for social programs like Medicare for All.

In her endorsement Warren said “Ike grew up in a working class family with a tough single mom. He understands the struggles of working Americans, and he’s fighting for Medicare for All, a Green New Deal, and immediate relief for people who’ve been hit hard by this pandemic and economic crisis.” ([link removed])

Denver Post: Colorado limits gatherings in most counties to 10 people from 2 households in new bid to slow COVID-19 ([link removed])

If you were planning on a large party, you’ll have to put it off, unless you live in one of five Colorado counties.

Colorado Sun: “We expect an active fire”: Weather is forecast to fuel East Troublesome fire on Friday ([link removed])

The firefighter leading the battle against the East Troublesome fire said Friday that, though danger remains, he believes the threat to Estes Park has lessened and that the town of Granby is also defensible.

The slightly upbeat assessment from Incident Commander Noel Livingston came as temperatures dropped and humidities rose a bit at the fire.

Greeley Tribune: Fires prompt shutdown of water flow from Western Slope to Northern Water’s Front Range reservoirs ([link removed])

BERTHOUD – Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District crews have shut down water movement from the Western Slope to Front Range reservoirs in response to the wildfires in Northern Colorado.

The East Troublesome, Cameron Peak, Cal Wood, and Williams Fork fires each have presented hazards to residents and watersheds in Northern Water’s boundaries or collection areas, the district said. However, water deliveries to cities and other providers continue today because of storage reservoirs on the Front Range of Northern Colorado.
