(New Orleans) - New Orleans City councilmembers Jay Bay Banks (District B) and Kristin Gisleson-Palmer (District C) are adamantly supporting Keva Landrum for District Attorney. Both leaders point to Landrum’s experience and resolute commitment to criminal justice reform as leadership traits needed in the city’s next District Attorney.
Councilmember Banks said, “Keva Landrum knows what to do to be an effective and fair District Attorney. She has the experience to know how we address crime while incorporating real criminal justice reform. The job of District Attorney is not an easy one. Our District Attorney must be someone who has the experience to know where to fix our broken system, the strength and integrity to be tough when necessary and the compassion to always be fair. Keva has all of the qualities and will work in the collective best interest of all of us.”
Councilmember Gisleson Palmer said, “Keva Landrum has spent her entire career fighting for victims and being a selfless leader in our criminal justice system. She knows how to navigate this arena, understands what the challenges and opportunities are, and has a plan to lead criminal justice reform in New Orleans.
Early voting is ongoing now through Oct. 27 (with the exception of Sunday). Election Day is Nov. 3. To read Keva Landrum's priorities, join #TeamKeva, donate or get involved, visit www.KevaLandrum.com.
