John,

From now until November 3rd, I know that this race will be hard fought and hard won. But I wanted to send a note reminding you what we're fighting for.

When I ran for Congress, it was to stand up for the working family who was struggling to make ends meet, for the seniors who couldn't afford their prescription drugs, and for children like my daughter, Violette, who are counting on our generation to do all we can to combat climate change.

This fight is important, and I hope we can continue to stand up for Coastal Virginia together.
