Chris, the Cook Political Report is out today with its latest US Senate rankings, and things look excellent for Democrats (knock on wood, of course).
I summarize the state of the races below. When you're finished, I've set up an ActBlue page where you can donate to all the top Senate races with a single donation.
The Latest Senate Rankings
The two Republican Senate seats most at risk are:
- Cory Gardner in Colorado vs. Democrat John Hickenlooper.
- Martha McSally in Arizona vs. Democrat Mark Kelly.
Cook says both races Lean Democratic.
Next up are three seats:
- Susan Collins in Maine vs. Democrat Sara Gideon.
- Thom Tillis in North Carolina vs. Democrat Cal Cunningham.
- Joni Ernst in Iowa vs. Democrat Theresa Greenfield.
All three races are toss ups -- in other words, tied.
The next three vulnerable GOP seats are:
- David Perdue in Georgia vs. Democrat Jon Ossoff.
- Kelly Loeffler and Doug Jones running for a Georgia open seat vs. Democrat Rev. Raphael Warnock.
- Steve Daines in Montana vs. Democrat Steve Bullock.
Perdue and Ossoff are tied, and if it's close, could go a January 5th runoff. Warnock is in the lead in Georgia (this race is expected to head to a run off). And Montana is also considered a toss up.
The final races to watch:
- Lindsey Graham in South Carolina vs. Democrat Jaime Harrison -- toss up.
- Roger Marshall in Kansas (open seat) vs. Democrat Barbara Bollier -- leans Republican.
- Dan Sullivan in Alaska vs. Independent Al Gross (who is supported by the Democratic party) - leans Republican.
- John Cornyn in Texas vs. Democrat M.J. Hegar - Cornyn is ahead, but the race is tightening.
- Cindy Hyde-Smith in Mississippi vs. Democrat Mike Espy -- Espy is catching up.
- Democratic incumbent Senator Gary Peters in Michigan vs. Republican John James -- Peters was supposed to win this easily, but it's becoming a tighter race, so he needs support.
That's it. You can donate to all of these races at once via our ActBlue form.
Just 11 days to go.
