Friend, that's what Donald Trump said yesterday when asked about the pending case before the Supreme Court that could overturn the Affordable Care Act.

He's publicly confirmed now what we have known for weeks: that he is ramming through a Supreme Court Justice in the middle of a national election so that a conservative Supreme Court will strike down the Affordable Care Act and terminate healthcare coverage for millions of Americans. This would rip away protections for people with preexisting conditions -- including over 300,000 people in NY-24. Doing so in the middle of a pandemic and a devastating economic recession is the height of cruelty.

But Donald Trump did not advance this cruel plan alone. Congressman John Katko voted for the bill that set up this lawsuit to overturn the Affordable Care Act, endorsed Trump for reelection, and is supporting his plan to stack the Supreme Court.
