I don’t endorse many people running for office — and there are even fewer who I go to bat to raise money for.

But I’m making a rare exception for Lucy McBath because keeping her in Congress is that important. She is an amazing leader who knows the pain of gun violence all too well.

Lucy is a prime example of the type of morally just leader our country needs to end gun violence. On the hardest days, Lucy’s leadership and perseverance keep so many of us going.

It gives me so much hope to know while there are many corrupt people in DC that fight for the NRA — Lucy is fighting for US.

But that’s why the gun lobby is doing everything they can to stop her. They’re terrified of a mother who lost her child due to gun violence continuing her fight in Washington. She’s spent the past two years in Congress standing up to them and winning time and time again.

The NRA has said that defeating Lucy is one of their top priorities, so our movement needs to have her back.
