Dear Friend,

It's our 71st birthday! The National Trust for Historic Preservation was
officially “born” on October 26, 1949. Please join us in celebrating 71 years of
saving historic places together.

For seven decades and counting, we’ve worked hard to honor the history of
culturally significant places across America. After all this time, our mission
and the passion of supporters like you is stronger than ever. It’s something to
be proud of!

Will you help us celebrate by signing our 71st birthday card?

Throughout our journey, we’ve relied on friends like you to help us save places
that demonstrate the depth of our history and tell the full American story. Your
support has ensured that history and its stories endure, enriching our lives and
inspiring all of us for generations to come. Thank you for your commitment to
preservation.

This year has been incredibly challenging for all of us. But one thing that
remains certain is our dedication to the preservation and survival of historic
places and their stories. Join us today in recognizing that dedication by adding your name to our 71st
birthday card.
