Our current system is broken. Prop 25 replaces California's money bail system with algorithms that determine who is freed and who is jailed.
This system adds to mass incarceration and keeps innocent people locked up with fewer ways to be released.
Meet Andreya - an Advocate and Abolitionist who works to keep innocent people out of jail. Andreya has seen first-hand how the police and how the courts work. She’s seen how pretrial racism disproportionately affects our people every day.

Dignity and Power Now's Health and Wellness team created a COVID-19 Resource Guide ([link removed]) to address the needs of our community members during these unprecedented times.
The Healing and Wellness Guide ([link removed]) lists a number of community resources for housing, employment, emergency food, legal assistance, LGBTQIA+ relief, mental health, and health care.

TOWN HALL: MEASURE J AND THE LATINX COMMUNITY
On Friday, October 16th, Ivette Alé of Dignity and Power Now, moderated a discussion on Measure J and the Latinx Community.
Alongside a panel of mental health professionals, the panel discussed budget cuts and access to mental health services for our communities, the importance of Measure J, and creating real solutions to respond to economic instability so our communities can thrive.
