some the harshest cruelty in the country. And they receive shockingly little
legal protection. Pigs are dropped into scalding tanks while conscious, cows are
beaten, male chicks are ground up alive, and when supply chains fail animals are
suffocated with foam or carbon dioxide. Nine billion animals a year face lives of intense confinement and cruel deaths
in America’s factory farm industry. This must change — and you have the power to change it.
