Amy Coney Barrett—Trump's illegitimate Supreme Court nominee—still won't admit that climate change is real. That is outrageous.

You and I both know that climate change is not only real, but it is devastating communities all over the country and world. And it's going to get worse if we don't take immediate action.

Barrett's denial of climate change is so critically important because her votes can expedite fossil fuel extraction— accelerating the climate crisis— making our home—planet Earth— virtually uninhabitable. Not to mention, the fast-tracking of Amy Coney Barrett’s nomination, outrightly defies the U.S. Constitution which requires that nominees be meticulously and rigorously considered.

Our planet, democracy, and livelihood is on the line in this Supreme Court nomination. So I am asking:

Tell your Senator: Stop Amy Coney Barrett's illegitimate nomination and investigate her ties to Big Oil.

Big Oil firms like Shell, the one Barrett’s father worked for, spent decades lying to the public so they could reap profits while communities choked on toxic air. From the looks of it, she’s slated to walk down that same path. That means that in cases related to climate, she’s unfit to judge.

Here's what's on the line right now for climate:

1. Just weeks before Barrett’s nomination, the Supreme Court agreed to hear an appeal by major energy firms—including Shell—in a lawsuit by the city of Baltimore for climate-related damages.
2. If Barrett is confirmed, she’s highly likely to rule in the favor of Big Oil.
This is only one of many cases that the Supreme Court will decide on. That is why we need to act now:
