Friend,
Madeleine in the news!
Madeleine Dean is working hard for all Pennsylvanians, here's the latest:
Mad is looking to her community to determine our future;
Jill Biden says women in the Philly suburbs where she grew up ‘may determine the entire election’
“Women will decide the future of this state, and this state may determine the entire election,” Biden said at a stop in Swarthmore, in Delaware County.
"You’re an amazing role model to a lot of women, and I hope you recognize that,” Dean told her. “And being a Philly girl, I think there really is something in our DNA. We believe in the founding of our nation ... life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”

Mad knows 'having a woman in a position of power incites others to join her.'
"There’s some old wives tale that I hate, that a man looks in the mirror and sees a Senator, and a woman looks in the mirror and doesn’t, and thinks ‘maybe I’m not qualified’ and ‘maybe I’m not smart enough’. I was 18 years old and I was not yet registered to vote," she explained when reflecting on her start in politics. I ran a campaign, I went door to door in my little precinct, I unseated an incumbent, and I was elected committee person. That planted the seed with me."

Mad is fighting for access to equitable education and health care for all Pennsylvanians.
Congressional candidates forum addresses health and human services.
"Pennsylvania families are hurting, Pennsylvania parents are worried about the education of their children, so what we need to do is, number one, get our hands around the pandemic, which the president, at the top, has failed to do, and, number two, boost our economy through federal support," Dean said.

Mad dropped off her mail-in ballot — you should too!
Democrats to Pennsylvania voters: Get your mail ballots in.
More than 2.6 million mail ballots have been requested in PA. U.S. Rep. Madeleine Dean, a Montgomery County Democrat, dropped off a ballot she had received by mail. County Commissioner Ken Lawrence said he’s waiting for his to arrive, one of more than 200,000 ballots that have been requested in the county.

Mad is working to protect small business owners.
Consumers have laws protecting them from usurious interest rates, but for small businesses, those protection laws don’t apply at all. Feds target predatory lenders to small business, but Pennsylvania remains a haven for the industry.
U.S. Rep Madeleine Dean, a Democrat who represents Montgomery County, is pursuing predatory lending issues in the Capitol, notably the Fair Debt Collection Practices for Servicemembers Act. It would prohibit debt collectors from making certain threats against military personnel, such as an assertion that they would lose rank if they didn’t pay up. We have a gap in our federal laws. Dean said. And we should follow New York’s lead on getting rid of confessions of judgment.

Ensure Mad has the resources to continue fighting for truth, transparency, and decency for all Pennsylvanians.
