We’re in the middle of the most important election in our country’s history, and Donald Trump knows his pathway to a second term goes right through Minnesota.

He only lost Minnesota by 1.5 points in 2016, and now his campaign and GOP special interest groups are dumping money into the state to push him over the edge this year.

And understand this: Every dollar that Trump spends in Minnesota makes it harder for my friend Tina Smith to win her Senate re-election campaign this November.

We need to send Tina back to Washington. She knows what it’s like to be a working parent, and how crucial childcare is to making it all work. It’s why we put our heads together to create a plan to address the childcare crisis our country is going through during this pandemic.

Democrats can take back the majority this November. But that’s virtually impossible if we don’t re-elect Tina. That is why I’m asking you:
