Congressman Crenshaw here,

This week, I am again highlighting my plan to expand your access to personalized health care. I am also calling out Democrats for their irresponsible rhetoric on ending the oil industry and am reiterating my position on protecting people with pre-existing conditions.

Please reach out to my offices if you have a concern, want to hear what we’re working on in Congress, or are having trouble with a federal agency. I have a full team in Texas and in the nation's capital ready to assist you. Be sure to stay up to date by following me on TwitterFacebook, and YouTube. For a behind-the-scenes look, follow my staff's official Instagram account.

Now, let's catch up.

my plan for personalized health care

Have you ever heard of Direct Primary Care?

The idea is simple: you should have an affordable monthly fee for a primary-care doctor, without extra charges for visits and without third-party insurance.

This is just one step to answer the call for personalized healthcare from the American people.

Empowering Americans with the freedom to choose a doctor they know and trust to provide them with high-quality care will lead to a healthier citizenry and put us on the path to modernized, personal health care for all. That's exactly why I introduced legislation to expand access to Direct Primary Care.

my plan for a new energy frontier

Leading Democrats have irresponsibly called for the destruction of the oil and gas industry. That would threaten hundreds of thousands of good-paying jobs in Texas, and would decimate our economy.

I have a better solution. We can reduce emissions while protecting the Texas energy industry. That is why I have introduced the New Energy Frontier, which boosts American innovation in carbon capture technology, which will allow us to continue to power our economy and help the Texas energy industry thrive without hurting our environment.

my position is clear: protect people with pre-existing conditions

Democrats have lied repeatedly about my position on protecting people with pre-existing conditions. So let me be clear: no American should ever be denied coverage or pay more for their health care because of their pre-existing condition.

This is personal for me. My mom passed away from cancer when I was 10.

That is why I have never voted for or supported legislation that would end protections for people with pre-existing conditions. In fact, I have supported bills and amendments - like the one included above - that would explicitly protect people with pre-existing conditions.
