There are more than 23 million female immigrants in the United States today. The American Immigration Council’s latest fact sheet [[link removed]] provides powerful economic and demographic data that shows how our country is stronger because of them.

But the Council’s research also shows that immigrant women in the labor force earn less than any other demographic in all top 10 countries of origin.

Given that immigrant women work in every occupation—with over one-third in management, business, science, and arts occupations—their contributions should not be overlooked.
