This is going to be tough. But together, I know we can do it.

I’ll be straight with you -- I knew from day one how tough our race for New Jersey’s 11th was going to be.

When we flipped NJ-11 for the first time in more than 30 years in 2018, we made the biggest swing from red to blue in the entire country that year.

Washington Republicans haven’t let it go. They’re determined to take back this critical blue seat and it’s crucial to their plan to take back the House Majority.

But here’s the thing: I’m not scared.

And here’s why: I’m used to tough challenges. As a pilot who flew helicopters in the Navy, a former federal prosecutor, and as the mom of four kids, I’ve confronted plenty of tough challenges head on before. And as the proud Congresswoman for New Jersey’s 11th, I see them all of the time in Congress: deep political divides that get in the way of progress.

But that’s why I ran for Congress in the first place -- to work across the divide to get things done for New Jerseyans.

And we’ve accomplished a lot: We’ve taken steps to lower prescription drug prices, safeguard protections for pre-existing conditions, secure funding for the Gateway Tunnel project, and implement universal background checks on all gun sales.

There’s so much more we can do, together. But first, we need to make sure Washington Republicans don’t succeed in their plan to turn NJ-11 red.

So I’m asking: If you are able, will you make a contribution to our campaign today? Every dollar makes a big difference.
