[[link removed]]Defender,

Gray wolves are still recovering the brink of extinction – but if anti-wolf
politicians and special interests get their way, these wolves could be wiped out
all over again.

That’s the threat posed by this administration’s promise to strip gray wolves of
their federal Endangered Species Act protections in the lower 48 states. If they
succeed, wolf recovery will come to a standstill – and gray wolves will be left
to the mercy of hostile states, some of which have already unleashed widespread
wolf killing.

In honor of Wolf Awareness Week, we’re asking our most compassionate supporters to pitch in and help raise
$25,000 for our Wolf and Wildlife Legacy Fund to fight for the future of
vulnerable gray wolves and wildlife across the country.

Your gift will keep wolves here for future generations – please pitch in to our
Wolf and Wildlife Legacy Fund and fight back for wolves right now!

Friend of Defenders, unless we step up, the success of
our wolf restoration efforts could be at risk.

Wolves are already fighting for their lives in anti-wolf states. We’ve seen
wolves maimed and killed in traps, gunned down from helicopters and poisoned
with cyanide – with their pups left to starve.

Even wolves in protected zones aren’t safe yet. In Yellowstone, wolves are
protected in the park - but they can be killed after taking a single step
outside the park boundary. Some of the world’s best-loved Yellowstone wolves have been killed not far
outside the park.

We need your help to keep wildlife safe: Your gift to the Wolf and Wildlife
Legacy Fund will make a difference for our most vulnerable wildlife!

People like you and me are still fighting to see the dream of wolf restoration
made a reality. But Friend of Defenders , believe me when I tell you that there are plenty of powerful people out there
who want nothing more than to turn back the clock and wipe out wolves across the
country.

We’re not going to let that happen. Will you join us in fighting to keep them
safe?

tirelessly to fight misinformation. We’re in court fighting for wolves. And
we’re organizing public support for wolves, bears and so many more imperiled
species.

Awareness Week donation today!
