Brandt —
There’s going to be a lot of attention on our campaign in the final days of this election, so I wanted to take a moment and speak to you about what this race for Senate in North Carolina is really about and why I’m running.
Here’s the truth: For too long, entrenched corporate special interests have corrupted our government — abusing our campaign finance and political systems to put profits and power ahead of the people.
It’s why, for example, my Republican opponent Thom Tillis refuses to challenge Donald Trump or Mitch McConnell when they try to take health care protections away from North Carolinians who have a pre-existing medical condition.
It’s why Tillis followed McConnell’s marching orders and walked away from much-needed COVID-19 relief negotiations, leaving many North Carolinians struggling to make ends meet while he went on vacation.
It’s why, time and again, my opponent has caved in to partisan and party interests — a recurring pattern in his public life — even when it is wrong for North Carolina.
I am refusing to take money from corporate PACs, and our campaign is not afraid to speak out against anyone who is hurting the people of our state — because North Carolinians deserve to have a Senator who will look out for them.
So, instead of obsessing over the horse race or the partisan sideshow in Washington, let’s double down on building a campaign that can stand up to McConnell and Tillis’ corporate donor network to win this election.
Will you add a contribution of $10 or more to my campaign for United States Senate in North Carolina? Anything you give will allow my campaign to reach today’s daily fundraising goal and it would make a huge difference for our team in the final days of this election.

Ours is a campaign powered by a lot of people standing up for what’s right, not the corporate PACs that are already more than well-represented in Washington. I am running to take on the political corruption that stands in the way of progress on the most important issues of our time — are you with me?
All my best,
Cal Cunningham
