McCaul has been a very strong supporter of Israel in his time in Congress. He has used his position on the Foreign Affairs Committee to solidify support in Congress for the U.S.-Israel relationship. For example, he has introduced legislation to provide additional aid to Israel and combat the BDS movement in Congress, and he is a vocal proponent of Israel’s right to defend itself.
