Like everything else in your life this year, this fall might feel a little different. Between COVID-19 and the upcoming US election, you might think that maternal health and advocacy has to take a back seat. But this is where we think our agenda is more important than ever.

In fact, with health care on the ballot, addressing the way new moms and pregnant people are being treated during their pregnancies and delivery has never been more relevant.

We can’t forget that nearly 1 in 4 hospital stays are related to pregnancy, childbirth, and newborn care. And pregnancy-related deaths and complications were on the rise well before COVID-19 took over the health care news.

We need your help, friend, to make sure that we can reach more women and families with our message. [[link removed]] We’re building a grassroots movement of advocates for moms and your support will help us do that.

Due to Facebook’s latest restrictions, we need to launch our next wave of ads to help build our network as soon as today. Your support will ensure that we are able to promote our organization to advocates and activists like you - who know that all moms deserve quality, equitable, and respectful maternity care.

Our ads will help our grassroots movement gather online and continue to spread advocacy toolkits - so that new advocates can address their elected officials and local hospitals and demand maternity support for moms in their communities.

Will you support our campaign to reach more advocates today? [[link removed]]

We’re not sure when Facebook will allow us to launch new ads again - they don’t even know yet. This is our last chance for the foreseeable future to push our grassroots network as far as possible and advocate for as many moms as we can - while we work together to develop new policies grounded in equity.

Thank you for your continued support for moms,

Team MarchForMoms
