Cindy continues to put Iowans first in Washington. Some of her recent
legislative priorities include:
* Increasing college affordability, including access to loan forgiveness
programs and programs to protect students from predatory loans.
* Expanding affordable rental housing options.
🤝Hosting Numerous Town Halls 🤝
* Cindy has hosted more than 40 town halls since January, including town
halls in eight different counties during the August recess.

👊 Standing Up For Iowa 👊
Cindy’s number one priority is being a voice for her constituents and fighting
to make sure every Iowan gets treated fairly. Some of the ways Cindy has done
this include:
* Fighting for Iowans affected by the floods to receive support.
* Supporting family farms impacted by the trade war.
* Fighting to bring an end to unfair housing practices.
* Calling for an investigation into bio-fuel wavers that are harming Iowa
farmers and the ethanol industry.
👏 Celebrating Union Appreciation Month 👏
Union Appreciation Month, unfortunately, does not exist yet. So Cindy is
proud to partner with Progress Iowa to support making September Union
Appreciation Month!
