This week was the week the Right To Know went to Parliament and it was all thanks to your fantastic support. The Equal Pay Implementation and Claims (EPIC) Bill was introduced in a rousing speech by Stella Creasy ([link removed][UNIQID]) and it's been given leave to proceed. Thank you for helping us get this far.

Support for the Right To Know
As the Bill was introduced into Parliament yesterday there was a huge amount of support for it in the media and on social media. Over 2000 of you wrote to your MPs to ask for their support. And our petition has got over 55,000 signatures.
But the work won't stop there. The Bill is scheduled for a second reading around Equal Pay Day and it's so important we keep reminding MPs why women need the Right To Know. The culture of pay secrecy in the UK allows gender discrimination to thrive - if women don't know what their male counterparts are paid then they can't bring a pay discrimination claim. Read more about the Right To Know campaign here. ([link removed][UNIQID])
Please keep sharing the petition with your friends and encouraging them to sign ([link removed][UNIQID]) . And please keep speaking to your MPs and reminding them why this Bill is so important. Your support has got us this far - let's keep up the pressure and try to achieve the Right To Know.
Celebrating Black Women in the UK
We are honouring Black History Month by sharing the work of Black Women in the UK. Last week we heard from Martha, a domestic abuse outreach worker. Martha told us all about her work, ([link removed][UNIQID]) the impact of the Coronavirus and what is giving her hope. Read her powerful interview here ([link removed][UNIQID])
In solidarity and determination,
