The President lies and the American people suffer as a result — that was the theme of tonight’s debate performance by Donald Trump. His performance tonight shows that he cares only about himself and will never rise up to the duty of serving the American people that the job of the President of the United States requires. 

In case you missed it, here are just a few of dangerous lies and statements Trump said during tonight's debate that endanger the American people:

• He celebrated the fact over 200,000 innocent Americans have died and then he touted his Administration’s failed response by saying the number of deaths could have been "much higher". In reality, if he would have acted and created a plan, hundreds of thousands of American lives would have not been lost in the first place.

• He claimed he was “the least racist person in this room" —when in reality his whole time as President has been built on racism and dividing the country; starting with his hateful Muslim Ban to tear gassing protestors that were protesting for racial equality creating a cheap photo op, and culminating with the deaths of thousands of Americans without access to affordable healthcare. 

• He turned a complete blind eye to the fact that months later, over 500 immigrant children still cannot find their parents due to his dangerous and erratic migrant family separation policies. 

The American people don’t want a racist, mentally unstable liar as our President. We deserve an empathetic leader that will lead our nation through this pandemic and get us back on our feet. 

That is why we need Joe Biden. Tonight’s debate proved that he is that leader. Less than two weeks left. Organize, mobilize and go vote. Make sure your friends and family do the same. The future of our nation depends on it.
