Folks, I just stepped off the debate stage for the last time this election.

After the first presidential debate, it was pretty clear that Donald Trump wouldn't go down without a fight. But tonight, during the last presidential debate of this race, I hope I made you proud by calling out his recklessness, his lies and his failures over the past four years.

I want to let you know that we're seeing record fundraising numbers from folks across the country. It's the best news to receive, I mean it. We built this campaign from the ground up and I can't thank you enough for your support.

But with 12 days left, the worst thing we could do is take anything for granted. We have not won this race yet and anything can happen in the coming days, we learned that four years ago.

Which is why if you felt like I fought for you and everyone in this nation tonight, I have a favor to ask. Tonight we are launching our end-of-month goal to raise $100 million online between now and midnight on October 31.

This is a big goal, I'm going to need your help to get there. Can you chip in $25 or whatever makes sense for your budget? Every dollar truly counts in these last days.

It was important to me tonight that I stood up for better health care, for better jobs, and a better future for all of our families. I hope I showed you what real presidential leadership looks like.
