I’ll get straight to the point:

Mitch McConnell’s refusal to act on our bipartisan gun violence prevention legislation is costing American lives.

I need 2,OOO,OOO urgent signatures CONDEMNING McConnell for failing to protect our communities from senseless gun violence. >> [link removed]

I’m proud our Democrats took swift action and passed background check legislation.

Within our first 1OO days, my colleagues and I made communities safer.

But instead of taking action to protect American lives, I’m heartbroken to say Mitch McConnell has gleefully refused to take action on our critical legislation for the last 197 days.

In that time, 19,7OO people have lost their lives to gun violence -- including 788 children and teenagers.

And I know every single day McConnell refuses to act, another 1OO American lives are lost to gun violence.

I’m fed up with Republican inaction. Our grandchildren’s lives are at stake.

Mitch McConnell is finally back in Washington, and it’s long past time he’s held accountable for his failure to protect our communities.

I’m determined to give McConnell something to regret.

Will you sign your name next to mine before midnight to DEMAND McConnell take action to prevent gun violence?

Please hurry. We simply cannot afford to delay a moment more.

Thank you,

Nancy
