Team,
Did you catch our previous email about Bill Cassidy’s attack on HBCUs?
Cassidy proposed “doing away with” three of Louisiana’s HBCUs — Grambling, Southern University New Orleans, and Southern University Shreveport — and turning them into “minimum-security prisons.”
Here’s the bottom line: a win for Senator Bill Cassidy on November 3rd is a loss for Louisiana.
Pitch in $25 or whatever you can to help us send Senator Bill Cassidy packing and flip the Senate Blue on November 3rd >>>
Thanks for standing with us,

Friends,
ICYMI: Senator Bill Cassidy argued that there are too many colleges and universities stretching state resources in Louisiana — so what’s his solution? Convert historically Black colleges and universities into prisons.
You read that correctly — Cassidy wanted to shut down HBCUs and see Black Americans locked up to save money in a state that’s home to six HBCUs — and over 1.5 million Black Americans.
Enough is enough. Rush $25 today to help us hold Bill Cassidy accountable and flip the Senate Blue >>>
If that’s not enough to convince you that Cassidy is targeting the Black community, then take a look at his track record:
Sen. Cassidy voted down expanding Medicaid, he stood against police reform after the killing of George Floyd, and he played down racial disparities with COVID-19 while it ravaged Louisiana’s Black communities.
This is disgusting. Senator Bill Cassidy is the last guy we need representing the Black community right now. He’s had his chance to turn Louisiana around, but he would rather divide than unite us.
Let’s do Louisiana a favor and help them flip the Senate Blue by kicking him out of office — and electing a true leader for the Black community: Adrain Perkins. We only have 13 days left to do this. It’s crunch time >>>
