‌Friend --

Last week, the Senate Judiciary Committee held confirmation hearings for Donald Trump’s most recent nominee to the Supreme Court.

These proceedings made one thing clear -- Amy Coney Barrett has a record of siding with the wealthy and powerful over the American people. If confirmed, she will be a justice who puts corporate interests first -- not ours. And today, Trump's Senate allies on the Judiciary Committee voted to advance Barrett's nomination to a full Senate vote on Monday. Add your name to tell the Senate: Vote NO on Judge Amy Coney Barrett!

As Accountable.US illustrated in its report ([link removed]), as a judge on the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, Amy Coney Barrett:

âž” Rarely stood with everyday Americans. She sided with corporate interests -- over people -- a staggering 78% of the time.
âž” Ruled that age discrimination protections for employees did NOT extend to job applicants.
âž” Sided with a major pharma company over a woman who was forced to get a hysterectomy due to a faulty IUD.
➔ Voted not to rehear a case in a decision the chief judge said upheld the “Separate But Equal” doctrine in regard to racial segregation.

Amy Coney Barrett’s pro-corporate, pro-pharma judicial record also extends to her stances on health care. Barrett has been a vocal critic of the Affordable Care Act. She could be the deciding vote to overturn this critical law, which millions of Americans rely upon to access affordable, quality care. If Barrett is confirmed to the Court, these Americans could lose their coverage -- in the middle of a devastating, nationwide pandemic.

Friend, Americans need and deserve a Supreme Court justice who will put our interests first -- not those of corporations. Will you add your name to our petition urging the Senate to BLOCK Judge Amy Coney Barrett’s nomination to the Supreme Court?
