October 2020 Update






















We’ve just concluded our first-ever national and virtual edition of Destination College+ <[link removed]>. Students and families logged on from across the country for our 24th annual conference focused on providing critical knowledge and resources to first-gen students.

With 20 workshops led by education professionals from esteemed institutions from coast to coast, participation in the NACAC college fair , and a career fair with 45 companies such as Google, Hulu, Goldman Sachs, Enrst & Young, and many more. It was a one-of-a-kind college access and success conference.

The event kicked off with a meaningful message to students from LAUSD Board Members Monica Garcia and Nick Melvoin, Dr. Adrian Huerta of USC, and Fulfillment Fund Board member, Lindy Werges. The opening program also featured a special conversation between our celebrity guest, Tiffany Haddish , and two Fulfillment Fund alumni, Charlie and David Portillo. We closed our program with a heartfelt message from Los Angeles Rams Defensive Lineman, Sebastian Joseph-Day , about his experience as a first-gen grad.
