Massive, multi-agency effort takes down 82 drug and gun runners in Vermont – Massachusetts crime corridor

BURLINGTON, VT – Drug and gunrunners were scooped up by the dozens in a massive, 18-month, multi-agency operation that targeted a corridor of crime between Vermont and Western Massachusetts.
The aptly named Operation Fury Road took down traffickers using Interstate 91 to move illegal firearms and drugs through both states and ran from October 2018 to February of this year. Read More.

LONG ISLAND, NY – With just more than two weeks until Election Day, Trump supporters showed up in Long Island, New York in full force Sunday, October 18th.
Thousands of supporters of President Donald Trump joined a rolling rally across Long Island on Sunday, they say to mobilize support for the president’s re-election.

Officer down: Greenville deputy killed after series of crashes and violent struggle during a traffic stop

GREENVILLE, S.C.- A tragic car crash that took place Tuesday evening, October 20th, has claimed the life of a Greenville County Sheriff’s deputy.
Master Deputy Conley Jumper was killed, and several others were injured after a traffic stop turned deadly.
According to reports, around 3 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, deputies initiated a traffic stop on I-85 northbound near White Horse Road in Greenville. Read More.
