Persistence = Progress

You have something in common with the people of Tibet: persistence.

They have never stopped peacefully struggling to be free of China’s oppression,
and you can continue to give them hope and support with your donation today.

Advance The Tibetan Cause:

You’ll help increase access to Tibet.

Tibetans are locked inside their country. The rest of the world is locked out.
It’s how the Chinese government tries to keep its oppression hidden.

But full enforcement of the Reciprocal Access to Tibet Act, enacted into law in late 2018,
will keep pressure on China’s leaders to open Tibet to Americans and the rest of the world.

Show China You Won’t Quit:

You’ll help protect Tibetans’ religious freedom.

Tibetans can be imprisoned for displaying a photo of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
Now the Chinese Communist Party is claiming authority to appoint the next Dalai Lama.

But full passage of the Tibetan Policy and Support Act, which will make it US policy
that the Dalai Lama’s succession is a religious issue decided by Tibetan Buddhists alone,
will send a powerful message that Americans stand with the people of Tibet.

You’ll help safeguard human rights in Tibet

Freedom of expression and basic rights have been denied to Tibetans for over 60 years,
making it the second-least-free place in the world, behind only Syria.

But you can help us mobilize nationwide support as we call on the presidential
candidates to make Tibetans’ human rights a top priority.

So don’t give up on Tibet. Your persistence will help bring progress!
