John, we've got some good news and some bad news:

The good news: since we announced our Path to Progress Victory Fund, we've seen a surge in grassroots support from across North Carolina.

But the bad news: a new poll released Tuesday showed Trump down by only a single point in North Carolina.

Like ABC News said last month, our race in North Carolina provides one of Joe Biden's best chances for victory in the South.

But Trump's repeated visits and the nearly $10 MILLION dollars far-right groups aligned with Roy's opponent are spending on negative ads are starting to make us nervous.

This race is going to come down to mobilizing historic numbers of voters to turn out for Roy - and hitting our $400,000 goal before the election is the best way of doing that.

We need another 220 donations today to hit our daily goal - if you've been waiting to make your first donation, it's now or never, John. Your support will be used to supercharge our mobilization efforts during the final two weeks of this election. Can you rush $10 now? >>

We hope everyone is staying safe during this ongoing health emergency. The Cooper Campaign is now working remotely, and we encourage all those who are able to practice social distancing. We've taken the step of cancelling all in-person fundraising for the time being, making grassroots online outreach and fundraising even more critical than before. Roy and the rest of the team will keep working for a more prosperous, better-educated, and healthy North Carolina, and we hope you will stay with us in this fight. Further information on the Coronavirus and our response can be found here.
