Friend,

This November, voters in Oregon have an historic opportunity to pass Measure 110 [link removed] to eliminate criminal penalties for the personal use and possession of all drugs and expand access to addiction and other health services.

If passed, Oregon would become the first state to decriminalize drug possession and would significantly expand access to much-needed evidence-informed, culturally-responsive treatment, harm reduction and other health services through excess marijuana tax revenue.

Right now, we need your help to make sure this historic initiative passes. Regardless of where you live, you can make a difference and help get out the vote – sign up to phone or text bank for Measure 110: [link removed]

Phone and text banking is easy and won’t take much of your time. You just sign up here [link removed] and someone will be there to help you through the process.

Measure 110 is a groundbreaking initiative that imagines a better way forward – instead of arresting and jailing people for drugs, it will offer help to those who need and want it.

Drug possession is the #1 most arrested offense in the country, so this measure would have a profound impact. Victory in Oregon can reverberate across the nation and demonstrate that effective, compassionate alternatives to arrest, prosecution, and incarceration are indeed possible.

Drug Policy Action is proud to have partnered with Oregonians to draft the measure and qualify it for the ballot. Now it’s time to get out the vote.

Your help is needed to make history – please sign up to volunteer to ensure Measure 110 passes in Oregon this November. [link removed]

Sincerely,
