This is daunting news, team -- and we have to respond.
Senator Tillis is spending more than half of his cash-on-hand this far out from the election. He clearly understands how difficult this race will be for him.
On top of that, Mitch McConnell’s dark money network -- bankrolled by corporate special interests -- is spending $1 million, too.
They know control of the Senate hinges on North Carolina. They also know Cal Cunningham is the kind of independent voice the American people need to take on the issues that matter -- like creating an economy that works for everybody, passing gun safety reform, and combating climate change.
We’ve come so far in such a short time. While we’re currently ahead in this race, that could change quickly with Tillis’ sudden ad buy. So, we’re asking:
