** Freedom Network USA Joins Call to Fight Trafficking Conspiracy Theories
------------------------------------------------------------

Yesterday, Freedom Network USA joined with over 100 other anti-trafficking organizations to speak out ([link removed][UNIQID]) against the misinformation spreading throughout the country. Over the last several months, QAnon has spread dangerous conspiracy theories about sex trafficking. While we are grateful the issue of human trafficking is getting more attention, we know that the actual purpose of these conspiracy theories is not to help survivors, but to sow fear and discord.

Disinformation causes real harm. It distracts us from looking at the real issues. We need to focus on the ways that human trafficking really happens in the US ([link removed][UNIQID]) and how to serve the survivors in front of us. We know that the way to support survivors and prevent trafficking is to address it's root causes. It is poverty, discrimination, lack of housing, and poor worker regulations that make people vulnerable to trafficking. This is where the real work needs to be done to fight trafficking and it is these issues that Freedom Network USA is working on everyday ([link removed][UNIQID]) .

Take a stand with us today by sharing the article ([link removed][UNIQID]) with your family and friends and let's get back to fighting the real issues that cause trafficking. #FreedomNeedsTruth
