I'm concerned about what happens next, John. The Senate Judiciary Committee just voted to move Amy Coney Barrett's Supreme Court nomination to a full Senate vote.
Senate Republicans are prioritizing ramming through a Trump-backed, anti-abortion extremist days before an election because Amy Coney Barrett will overturn Roe v. Wade AND the Affordable Care Act.
Instead of helping families and small businesses by passing another COVID-19 relief bill, Republicans like Mitch McConnell are reminding us of how broken they've made Washington.
Let me be straight with you, John: This is a sham nomination. Amy Coney Barrett's appointment has major and serious consequences for New Mexico families. When she overturns Roe v. Wade, New Mexico has outdated laws on the books that make abortion illegal and performing abortions a felony.
That's why I'm doing everything I can to fight for reproductive rights here in New Mexico - including trying to get these outdated laws taken off the books. But I urgently need to know what 500 supporters think before 11:59 p.m. tonight, so tell me now:
Should we repeal outdated anti-choice laws in New Mexico?
